The Thule 599XTR Big Mouth Upright Rooftop Bicycle Carrier adjusts the standard for bike carrying flexibility and ease of use. The 599XTR is an updated edition of Thule’s 599XT, but still demands the Xadapt2 to be used with an Aero bar.
The easy-to-mount Thule Big Mouth Upright has got a convenient, rack-level bike clamping characteristic, and worry-free, automatic self-adjusting jaws for perfect bike clamping all time. The Thule Big Mouth adapts bike frames up to 3.125-inches in diameter, accommodates both Thule and Yakima load bars, and characteristics a dual-locking conception that simultaneously locks the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the rack.
This bicycle carrier scheme is made with a black anodized aluminum wheel tray that’s built to last, and can be custom-made with 790 Tray skins. The 599XTR weighs 10.5 pounds and is compatible with the Thule One-Key System and can be locked securely with a individual lock cylinder.
